Research Links

A9 is a search engine that includes access to Amazon's powerful "Search Inside the Book" feature. Run a search, then click on the "Books" box.

Film Literature Index is the new online version of the leading index of articles on film and television, including both reviews and scholarly work. It's the best one-stop source for film research. Note: it's an index, not a full-text database. To track down an article cited in the FLI, try the GSU E-Journal Locator.

Google Scholar is Google's new academic index. Most entries are only citations, rather than full-text. But the really useful feature is the "Cited by . . ." link in each entry. Click on that, and you'll find a listing of every work in the database that cites the original article.

GSU Digital Aquarium is an amazing resource for any GSU student interested in digital production.

GSU E-Journal Locator can tell you where to find articles tracked down in the Film Literature Index, Google Scholar, and other citation indexes.

Internet Movie Database continues to be the best one-stop source for film information, including cast, crew, and box office stats.

Metacritic is the best one-stop spot to find online reviews of current and recent films, games and music.

Rotten Tomatoes is the other good source for online film reviews.
