Plink

A couple of years ago, I bought a Roland MC-505, also known as a “Groovebox.” It’s an all-in-one sequencer, drum machine, and synthesizer. It’s amazing because it completely divorces music-making from physical dexterity - just press a key, push the “arpeggiator” button, and a single note becomes a complex riff. I started composing little ambient grooves. Here’s “Plink,” recorded 11/20/00.
